The Focused Momentum team is built around the core of three talented individuals that have worked together since 2001. As projects dictate this team is expanded, but at its core this is the Focused Momentum team.
Cecilia Lynch, Founder and Principal
Cecilia Lynch is a seasoned strategist and management consultant with over 20 years of experience in business planning and strategy development.
She makes things happen at an organization by building commitment within it. Cecilia leads every team with her natural enthusiasm and drive which provides the catalyzing spark that keeps the energy high throughout the many phases of planning and change. Using the best of facilitative approaches, Cecilia engages the management team in the strategic thinking process to develop strategies and plans that deliver on the future direction of the organization. She then works with leadership teams to design and lead processes that generate broad support and produce exceptional results.
As a consultant, Cecilia has worked with large multi-national consumer companies, technology and creative services enterprises, as well as non-profits, trade associations, and public agencies.
Emily Shepard, Graphic Recorder and Illustrator
Emily brings twenty years of experience in the visual communication field to her work. Her background as a graphic designer gives her ability to:
- Translate organizational issues and concerns into visually based images and metaphors.
- Continually organize a discussion so that the finished product provides increased clarity and focus to the group.
- Quickly design chart formats and templates during meetings when the process design needs to change on the fly.
Emily also creates information graphics for organizations' murals, timelines or strategic illustrations that present complex information in an accessible and engaging format. These "learning maps" can help individuals or groups understand and contextualize ideas and key concepts. Often these charts relate to a company or group's history, vision or strategy.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont and an M.F.A. from California College of the Arts in Oakland in California.
Jennifer Fitzgerald, Associate
Jennifer is the backbone of Focused Momentum. She provides consultants and clients with production, technology and logistical support on all projects.Jennifer's amazing speed and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously provides Focused Momentum with the highest level of efficiency and clients with the highest level of service.
